School Science Projects - Insects

insectsInterested in doing a project about insects? Check this out for a few cool ideas:

  1. Teach your class about stinging insect allergies. Describe to them:
  2. bugCreate a poster with pictures of stinging insects.
  3. Create a chart that describes what stinging insect’s differences are.
  4. Create a stinging insect matching game similar to the one found here.
  5. Hand out a list of tips on what someone can do if they are near stinging insects and how to avoid them.
  6. Make a diagram showing why the body has an allergic reaction, what happens during the reaction, and the role the immune system plays in the reaction.
  7. Demonstrate to your classmates about what they can do when a friend is stung by an insect. Maybe even create a list of tips that they can carry with them when outdoors
